About Us
The National Specialist Contractors Council (NSCC) brings together the common aims of specialist trade organisations within the construction industry and is the authoritative voice of Specialist Contractors in the UK.
Our objectives are:
- To be the representative umbrella body for building specialist organisations
- To promote the role of Specialist Contractors
- To encourage the use of trade association members
- To lobby for a business environment in which Specialist Contractors can flourish
We provide one point of contact for organisations wishing to speak to Specialist Contractors within the construction industry. NSCC is represented on industry bodies including ConstructionSkills, the Cross-Industry Construction Apprenticeship Task Force (CCATF), the Construction Industry Advisory Committee (ConIAC), the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), the Joint Contracts Tribunal (JCT), and the Strategic Forum for Construction.
We also offer a range of business support services to Specialist Contractors including telephone helplines, information and guidance, and discounted products and services.
